Ramsey High School Hockey

    Varsity & JV Hockey

In 1999, RHA brought boys ice hockey to Ramsey High School.  A first of its kind in Ramsey, for the first 15 years the administration of the high school ice hockey program was established as a collaborative effort between RHA, the Ramsey Board of Education and the Ramsey High School staff.  The high school program was an immediate success with our Varsity team playing for the League Championship in 2003, merely four years into the program's existence. Ramsey's High School ice hockey program has since developed into one of the marquis ice hockey programs in New Jersey.  Our Varsity program's overall record through 2015 is 245-91-34, capturing a State Championship in 2009. The Rams have also reached the State Championship finals in 2014 and 2015 and appeared in the State Tournament "Frozen Four" (semi-finals) in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Ramsey has won League Championships in 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Ramsey played in the Northern Conference (Blue Division) from 1999-2004, the North Bergen Interscholastic Athletic League (NBIAL) from 2004-2010, and the Big North Conference (Green Division) from 2010-present. Ramsey's Varsity and Junior Varsity teams play their home games out of the Ice Vault Arena in Wayne, New Jersey.
